New Executive Director Appointed at Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity

Ashley Griffiths takes the helm of the growing nonprofit

Pitman, NJ. (March 1, 2022) – Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity (GCHFH) announces that Ashley Griffiths has been named Executive Director of the nonprofit, which is devoted to providing safe, decent and affordable homes in the County. Founded in 1986, Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity has built 50 homes for local low to moderate income families.

Ms. Griffiths, who previously served as Area Manager for Operation Homefront, brings over a decade of experience in the nonprofit sector to her new position with GCHFH. She arrives as GCHFH is poised to enter a new phase of growth, and will begin her new role on March 14th.

“Ashley has the qualifications to lead GCHFH to the next level of success. Her wealth of nonprofit experience and business knowledge will guide the organization to new levels of success,” stated Ronda Abbruzzese, President of Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity’s Board of Directors.

Griffiths will succeed retiring Executive Director Tony Isabella, who was appointed to the position in 2011. After his formal retirement, Isabella will continue to assist GCHFH in an advisory capacity. During his tenure as Executive Director, Mr. Isabella oversaw the building and habitation of over 20 houses, expanded the activities of the ReStore, and initiated a partnership between GCHFH and Gloucester County to build ADA-compliant ramps for mobility-challenged County residents.

About Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity: Since 1986, GCHFH has continued its mission to provide quality housing to those in need. GCHFH serves Gloucester County’s residents by providing low to moderate income families with the opportunity to purchase safe, decent, and affordable homes.
