Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity ReStore Warehouse Clearance Sale; Nothing over $100
Pitman, NJ (Thursday, August 20, 2020) – Seeking to generate funding through its ReStore sales,Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity will present a warehouse clearance sale on Saturday, August 29th.
The event will take place at 104 Rowan Blvd. in Glassboro, NJ (in-between LaScala’s Fire and Axe and Arrow) from 8 am till 3 pm. Free parking is available in the Mick Drive garage.
“At this time, our donations have been incredible,” said Tony Isabella, Executive Director of Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity. “We have tons of stuff in storage that we need to get out and get on the floor.”
To move inventory, the ReStore will offer gently used home furniture including tables, armchairs and sofas and more for under $100. Please be prepared to take home purchased items. No holds. First come, first serve. Sales tax not included.
“Being a nonprofit, we don’t have a set type of income coming in other than our resale store,” Isabella said, adding the store’s sales go towards the nonprofit’s operating expenses, including the building supplies needed to finish two Habitat homes in the county.
Since forming in 1985, Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity has built 49 homes for county families, with the most recent projects in Glassboro and Woodbury, NJ. Stocked by gently used home goods, donated by county residents and businesses the ReStore location is located in Pitman, NJ and is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 am – 5 pm.
