For the third year\, the Golf Outing will be held at the historic 95 year old Pitman Golf Course in Pitman\, NJ. This annual event has raised over $574\,000 to date to help Habitat for Humanity carry on its mission to provide stable and affordable housing throughout Gloucester County. \nTraditionally\, the golf outing is a sold-out event\, attracting close to 120 business owners and professionals from the local community. It is a unique audience that will allow you to gain targeted visibility for your company. Any woman who wants to learn how to build and construct a home is invited to join us. This is an opportunity for you to get on the construction site and learn new skills! In addition to learning new skills\, the event provides a unique opportunity for women to have a direct role in creating affordable housing solutions through construction\, collaboration\, and advocacy. Whether you’re already a handywoman or have never picked up a drill\, Women Build is a platform where all women can assist in building a better Gloucester County. \nVolunteering during Women Build\nHabitat homes are built with 80% volunteer labor. No construction experience is necessary. (November 20\, 2023) –The Wells Fargo Foundation has awarded $30\,000 in grants to Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity to build two homes in Woodbury and Glassboro. Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity is one of more than 230 Habitat for Humanity affiliates awarded grant funding nationwide through the 2023 Wells Fargo Builds program to help more low to moderate income families access affordable homes.  \nThe grant to Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity along with the support of Wells Fargo volunteers will help build two brand-new homes as a commitment to providing affordable homeownership opportunities to low-moderate income individuals and families. \n“We are incredibly grateful for our partnership with Wells Fargo\, which allows us to continue providing safe and affordable homeownership opportunities for low-income residents in our communities\, building a better\, thriving Gloucester County\, together\,” said Ashley Griffiths\, Executive Director\, Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity.\n“As the Bank of Doing\, we’re committed to opening pathways to affordable homeownership for more individuals so they can pass that legacy on and grow generational wealth\,” said Paralee Knight\, Vice President of Philanthropy and Community Impact for New Jersey\, Pennsylvania\, and Delaware at Wells Fargo. “These two new homes in Woodbury and Glassboro align perfectly with that effort\, and we salute the entire team at Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity for their help to create a future where everyone can have a quality place to live.”\nOn November 16th\, Wells Fargo volunteers will join Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity to help the Toro family. Corporate Team Builds are an incredible way to involve members of the community and make a memorable contribution to the mission of building safe\, decent and affordable homes.  \nAt least one in six New Jersey households spend over half of their income on housing and the number of Gloucester County families who are struggling to afford rent is on the rise.  \nThis funding is part of a $7.5 million donation to Habitat for Humanity International through the 2023 Wells Fargo Builds program to build and repair more than 350 affordable homes nationwide.  \nAbout Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity: Since its inception in 1986\, Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity (GCHFH) has continued its mission to provide safe\, decent\, and affordable housing to those in need. For the second year\, the Golf Outing will be held at the historic 95 year old Pitman Golf Course in Pitman\, NJ. This annual event has raised over $549\,000 to date to help Habitat for Humanity carry on its mission to provide stable and affordable housing throughout Gloucester County. \nTraditionally\, the golf outing is a sold-out event\, attracting close to 120 business owners and professionals from the local community. It is a unique audience that will allow you to gain targeted visibility for your company.
