SUMMARY:Ron Jaworski and Jaws Youth Playbook
DESCRIPTION:Ron Jaworski’s Jaws Youth Playbook teams up with Habitat for Humanity\n$5\,000 donation to support affordable homes in Gloucester County\nRon JaworskiPitman\, NJ. (April 12\, 2023) – Ron Jaworski’s\, Jaws Youth Playbook gives back to the community with a $5\,000 donation to help support Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity’s (GCHFH) Affordable Homeownership Program. The two local nonprofit organizations are taking their community service to a new level with their shared goal of investing in the overall health and wellness of children and families. \nPart of the partnership includes Jaws Youth Playbook’s leadership team joining GCHFH during the organization’s annual Women Build event. GCHFH’s Women Build is an opportunity for women and women-led organizations to partner with affiliates to build affordable homes in Gloucester County. The event will bring awareness to the fact that women and children make up the majority of people affected by substandard living conditions. \n“The spirit of supporting and serving others is exactly what Jaws Youth Playbook is all about. Our foundation is excited to be a part of the Women Build with Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity. So many families in our very own backyard need help and support. That is exactly why my husband and I work hard to provide support for local residents\,” Liz Jaworski\, Chief Leadership Officer\, Ron Jaworski Golf. \nHousing is often the greatest expense for families. GCHFH’s model ensures that expense is affordable–guaranteeing mortgage payments will be no more than 30% of a family’s monthly gross income at the time of closing. In addition to the benefits that stable housing brings to families and communities\, building homes stimulates other sectors of the economy\, driving additional spending and creating local jobs. This is the seldom-told story “beyond the house” of how Habitat creates a ripple effect in local and regional economies. \n“We are thrilled for our new partnership with Jaws Youth Playbook\,” said Ashley Griffiths\, Executive Director\, Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity. “The value of community partnerships is deeply woven in our work to build homes\, communities and hope\, and we are grateful to have dedicated foundation partners like Jaws Youth Playbook who share a similar vision.” \nAbout Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity: Since 1986\, GCHFH has continued its mission to provide quality housing to those in need. Habitat serves Gloucester County’s residents by providing low to moderate income families with the opportunity to purchase safe\, decent\, and affordable homes. \nAbout Jaws Youth Playbook \nJaws Youth Playbook was founded by Former NFL Quarterback Ron Jaworski. Jaws Youth Playbook’s mission is to support the health and wellness of at-risk youth in the community while advocating access to safe play and healthy choices.
