Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity Toasts Donors and Volunteers at Annual Holiday Party

Each year at this time, Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity invites our donors, volunteers and staff to celebrate the season as we reflect upon the past year. We all had much to celebrate this past year, including 14,500 volunteer hours, hundreds of sweat equity hours our future homeowners gave, 6 ADA compliant ramps, Tony Isabella (GCHFH Executive Director) being named one of South Jersey Magazine’s “Men of the Year” and the expansion of our Habitat team.

What made our night extra special, was the 3 special guests we joined us. Ron, John and Beverly are 3 of the first Gloucester County residents to come together to bring a Habitat for Humanity to Gloucester County in 1986. They are a part of a group of Gloucester County residents from church and community organizations who recognized the need to serve low-income families by building affordable housing in our neighborhoods.

But perhaps what is more exciting is knowing that our Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity families will be celebrating the holidays in their new Habitat homes this year! Thanks to the support of donors and volunteers, we were able to complete 2 new homes in the cities of Woodbury and Glassboro, and put shovels in the ground on 3 new homes throughout Gloucester County!

We are extremely grateful for the many, generous supporters who helped us serve families in Gloucester County. We were honored to be able to spend an evening with our valued volunteers, donors, Habitation families, and GCHFH staff and we look forward to their continued support as we prepare to get to work in 2020!
