Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity dedicates home to partner family
Glassboro, NJ – Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity (GCHFH) is hosting their 44th habitation ceremony on October 18th at 3:00 PM. The ceremony will take place at 227 Truman Avenue in Glassboro.
Join us as we welcome the Brown family to their new and well-deserved home. Samantha Brown, mother of two children says “I’m most excited to see my children playing in their new back yard”.
Anthony Isabella, Executive Director of GCHFH says “Samantha has shown dedication and commitment to this home since day one. She worked all of her sweat equity hours, paid her closing costs and purchased her home as a single mother, working a full time job.” “Samantha’s family is a success story and we are building communities’ one success at a time.”
This habitation marks the beginning of Habitat’s partnership with South Jersey Federal Credit Union who is providing a mortgage for Ms. Brown. “South Jersey Federal Credit Union is committed to serving our communities, it’s part of our mission statement, it is who we are as an organization. We were happy to provide the financing for this project, we want the Brown family to feel safe and comfortable in their new home and become an active member of the community for years to come”, said Ernie Huggard President and CEO.
