Dear Friends,
Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity’s mission statement has never rung more true than it has in 2020 – a year like no other. In challenging times, the things that indeed bring people together are a safe home, a loving community and hope for the future.
For nearly 35 years, your support has built a better future for hundreds of individuals and families in Gloucester County. Here are some highlights of 2020.
- 3 families fulfilled the Homeownership Program requirements and are in their new homes for the holidays
- 6 seniors are now able to stay in their homes after we installed ADA compliant ramps
- The ReStore diverted 56 TONS of home goods from the landfill
- 10,860 volunteer hours were donated to us to assisted in building a better Gloucester County
As we look towards the future and the fresh start of 2021, we celebrate forward motion and progress, despite the challenges of 2020. Whether swinging a hammer at the construction site, setting the foundation on an ADA compliant ramp, accepting donations at the ReStore, or serving on the board, we THANK each and every one of our volunteers.
Your continued support in 2021 will help create more opportunities for our neighbors in need of a hand up. Please consider donating, shopping and volunteering at Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity and our ReStore. Doing so helps Habitat partner with local families to build affordable homes and better futures, which in turn strengthens Gloucester County.
On behalf of the entire Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity family, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a safe, healthy and Happy New Year.
In partnership,
Anthony C. Isabella
