Wells Fargo teams up with Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity in Woodbury to build home with local family

WHAT: As part of a nationwide effort to build and repair 350 affordable homes for families, the
Wells Fargo Foundation awarded a $30,000 grant to Gloucester County Habitat for
Humanity to construct 2 homes in Glassboro and Woodbury. On November 16th, Wells
Fargo employees will join Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity to help build outdoor
storage for the Habitat home.
At least one in six New Jersey households spend over half of their income on housing
[see Cost of Home data for your state: www.habitat.org/costofhome/learn-more] and the
number of Gloucester County families who are struggling to afford rent is on the rise. For
the Ejjalili family, this volunteer effort will give them exterior storage to use for
maintaining their landscaping and organizing tools.
This funding is part of a $7.5M donation to Habitat for Humanity International through
the 2023 Wells Fargo Builds program to expand access to affordable homes across the
U.S.

WHERE: 403 Deptford Ave, Woodbury, NJ 08096
VISUALS: Volunteers and the Habitat construction group will be constructing a shed outside the
home with access to interior spaces and a tour of the brand new home in the construction process.
