Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity is, “Building A Better Gloucester County”

Since its inception in 1986, Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity (GCHFH) has continued its mission to provide quality housing to those in need. It has served Gloucester County’s more than 290,000 residents by providing low-income families with the opportunity to purchase safe, decent and affordable homes that improve the family’s quality of life and strengthens communities throughout the county.

A Bit of Our National History with Local Impact

Families partner with Habitat for Humanity in the U.S. and around the world to build better lives for themselves and their children. Families in need of a decent place to live build safe and affordable homes in partnership with Habitat for Humanity. As a part of the homeownership process, we believe financial education builds a more solid foundation for long-term personal success and helps alleviate any concerns or barriers on the path to homeownership. Through our neighborhood revitalization work, we tailor our efforts by partnering locally with residents and community leaders and organizations to best address real concerns and improve the lives of the people who live there. With the help of volunteers and donors like you, we are able to provide shelter assistance, education, training and partnerships to the affected individuals who find themselves in unthinkable situations rebuilding after a disaster strikes.
