GLOUCESTER COUNTY HABITAT FOR HUMANITY ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH 84 LUMBER

Pitman, NJ. (September 22, 2022) – Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity (GCHFH), an affiliate of the nonprofit organization Habitat for Humanity International, which helps people in communities around the world build a place they can call home, has a new partnership with 84 Lumber.

84 Lumber, the nation’s leading privately held supplier of building materials, building supplies, manufactured components, and industry-leading services for single- and multi-family residences and commercial buildings will be a corporate contributor for GCHFH. Funding will support the construction of new homes in Woodbury and Clayton and fundraising events, such as the affiliate’s upcoming Veterans Build.

To kick off the partnership, 84 Lumber will be the Gold Sponsor of the Veterans Build, a program that brings together a cross section of veterans, local civic and business leaders, and volunteers to show recognition and support to those after military service.

“The partnership here was a no brainer. 84 Lumber is a veteran founded & woman owned business, so our core values line up perfectly with what the Gloucester Habitat for Humanity is doing. Our stores are always looking for ways to be involved and give back to the communities around them. 84 Lumber is very proud to support the Gloucester Habitat for Humanity this year! We know that the organization always makes a positive impact, and this project will be no different. We are very excited to see this partnership flourish and watch everything come together!” Kyle Hair, Mid-Atlantic Regional Recruiter, 84 Lumber.

“Partners like 84 Lumber are instrumental to our work serving future homeowners,” said Ashley Griffiths, Executive Director, GCHFH. “84 Lumber is leading by example as a GCHFH corporate contributor, and their commitment to our community through both their financial support and volunteer service is helping to change lives, especially the lives of those who have served.”

About Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity: Since 1986, GCHFH has continued its mission to provide quality housing to those in need. Habitat serves Gloucester County’s residents by providing low to moderate income families with the opportunity to purchase safe, decent, and affordable homes.
